PILOT: CHAPTER 00
It’s been a while since my father and I have moved. To be more precised, it’s been 3 months, 2 weeks and 1 day.
We’re always in a heap of debt, and running was always our number 1 choice. I’m worried that I will grow old without even reaching my last year of high school because of that good-for-nothing father. He’s always off doing some work that gets us in trouble and I’m always the one truly working. In most of the schools I’ve been to, working was prohibited but I kept trying to support my broken family.
My mother and my little brother moved away a long time ago. I was only 10 then. Finally, my dad has succumbed to my grandfather’s wishes and here was were the story of my life truly began.
In this small town, my father forged an agreement with an old friend. To oblige with my grandfather’s demands, my father had to give up many things. He began to work as the chairman of the company Itsumo, in place of my grandpa. He was also prohibited to see his family until he was able to pay off the 1 million debt, he’d been running from, using his own strengths. But one thing he most likely refused was the sacrificial of his only daughter, me.
In this small town, which truly isn’t even small, my grandfather became friends with the #1 ceramic company: Chaji, which translates to tea gathering.
It has only been a few hours, and in these few hours… I have been forced to learn how to: 1. wear a kimono, 2. serve tea, 3. learn the history of Chaji and lastly, 4. make tea. Out of all of those, which do you think I have actually learned? True that I may be a quick learner but that is too much! I can only do a bit of each or one in all if I were in any other situation but to help my father, I have come to admit that I am now truly…
Engaged to the heir of Chaji.
authors note: So there goes the first chapter of The Diary of One Who Always Moves. Please comment !! This is just a pilot chapter and so your comments will define the continuation of the story. Also, the title is still in progress, but I like it still.
Ame… as in Ayame? You finally released one of her stories. Good.
I loved it, for a story written by an 8 year old, I can see myself reading this on and on. Though none have been introduced, it pulls a little. The cut is weird because it seems like a typical quiz found in quizilla or maybe not. I want to see where the story leads to.
It’s more personal than anything else… since I’ve only read one other story: “Your Hand on My Lips”. I really like how there’s always something missing in the heroine, character wise. In here, I wonder if it’s the fact that love is something she doesn’t know which I’ve come to know as a motif in the other one. I can’t wait for the next chapter! will msg later.
better than I expected. I also wonder why the brothers picked this story to send. I was more a fan of “Smile with a Sad Face”. I think my cousin is right, lack of knowledge about love is a motif but I’m a big fan of shoujo which uses this a lot. From having Kyou as my best friend, I’m well aware that Ame has never read any therefore how can she make stories in which I can relate a certain person to?!? Then again, they were so close that she might have been the model for all the heroines…
Hahaha, but you know she models the heroines after the people she knows. lol. It’s just a coincidence that a lot of her stories have Hana in it. Think of it this way… it was like Ishida and Hana were always meant to meet.
i’m not getting the story but i’m curious about the engagement
we’ll update this story as soon as we reach a good enough number of readers. currently, our goal is to reach 20 readers for this. We’re 4 down.
